Welcome to this month’s Holistic Practitioner Interview with Dorothy Putnam, Precision Nutrition Coach, Aromatouch Technique Practitioner, Reiki Master, Essential Oil Specialist, and Personal Trainer!
Who am I?
I am a wife, mom and grandma. I spent the first 60 years of my life in Connecticut. Then when the grandchildren started coming I knew long distance grandmothering was not for me! So I relocated to Methuen, MA to be near my family on the North Shore.
What I do:
I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Coach, Aromatouch Technique Practitioner, Reiki Master, and Essential Oil Specialist. (Phew!)
When I started:
I have always been interested in wellness. When I was younger, my focus was on animals and I became a veterinary technician. When I became a mom, keeping my family healthy became my priority. I have spent the last 40 years learning everything I could about health and wellness. It has definitely been an evolution.
Where:
One of the beautiful things about what I do is the versatility. I can work with people in whatever space is most comfortable for them. Any hands on treatment would of course need to be done in person, but even that can be mobile.
How:
We live in a very toxic world. We are exposed to tens of thousands of chemicals in all areas of our lives. This is creating a culture of disease which our current medical system is ill equipped to handle. With all of the tools in my toolbox, I can help make sense of all the conflicting information and guide you on a path of achievable changes to reduce toxic load and restore health from the inside out with nutrition tweaks and the amazing power of pure, therapeutic essential oils.
Why I do it:
My passion, my guiding force, the thing that gets me out of bed every day is my love of helping people take back control of their own wellness. Your health and your body are not some dark mystery that can only be understood by the elite few.
